Friends Are Fun- January 13th 2009

Happy New Year troop 782! This was our first meeting of 2009. We earned our Friends are Fun Try It by making friendship bracelets and talking about how to be a good friend. In the middle of the meeting we recited the Girl Scout Law.
We also talked about cookie sales and what we would do with the money we earn. I loved the neon green cookie shirts we got- I actually wore the shirt to school the next day. After talking about the cookie sales we ended the meeting with the Friendship Squeeze.

Cookie Booth Sales

Thanks to all the girls and their moms who turned out to help with our first Cookie Booth Sale of the year. We sold quite a few cookies - final numbers aren't in yet, but we'll let you know.

We will have more booth sales coming up, so if you couldn't help this time, you'll get a chance later.

Color Me Mine

We had a great time painting Christmas ornaments at Color Me Mine on December 16. Some girls chose snowflakes to paint, others painted stockings or penguins. They turned out beautifully. We have some talented girls!
