Today we earned the Water Everywhere try-it. Libby, Jacqueline, and Katie made a
presentation about water. After we took a test. Almost everyone got 100%. Finally we
got to play on the playground. We found inch worms and named them Inchie 1 and
Inchie 2. It was fun. Mrs. Davis handed out pajama party, animal hospital,
water everywhere, watching wildlife, and booth sale badges.

Bridging to Juniors Workshop
Bourne Junior Troop 80658 hosted a Bridging to Juniors workshop for all Brownies who are in 3rd grade and thinking about bridging to Juniors for next year. Our troop worked side by side with these older girls as they earned their Camp Together Badge by making edible campfires, what to do with a bandana, what to pack for a trip and learning camp songs.

March 24th Meeting - Senses
At this brownie meeting we learned about senses. We had four different
groups, smell, sight, feel and last but not least sound.
In sound we would listen to a noise and would have to name it. In smell you would
have a blindfold around your eyes and there would be a little cup that would have
something in it and we had to guess what was in it. In feel there would be a bag
that would have all different things in it and we would have to guess what was in
the bag. In sight there would be a piece of paper that you would have to say what you saw. And that is what we did in brownies for this meeting.

Cookies for the troops
During our cookie sale this year, our troop collected money for boxes of Girl Scout Cookies for our soldiers serving overseas. Over 30 boxes were donated to this worthy cause! Great job girls. I'm sure our cookies were enjoyed by many hardworking men and women who were excited to have something so familiar that represented their home country. Here is the thank you given to us from the sister of a soldier serving in Iraq who was generous enough to ship the cookies for us:
"I can't wait to send them. The guys and girls are going to love them! Thank you so much again for all you and your troop have been doing."
